Paul O'Callaghan Obituary

Paul P. O'Callaghan - Melbourne - Paul P. O'Callaghan, 76, passed away at home on Wednesday, April 22, 2009, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born March 25, 1933 in Mobile, AL. He moved to Florida in 1952 and met his loving wife Shirley. He is survived by his wife of 56 years; son, Tom; mother, Lucia O'Callaghan; sister, Carol Hughes; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Paul worked at Lockheed Martin for over 30 years and was an electronic technician, retiring at 65. He enjoyed feeding the animals in his backyard. He also enjoyed helping his neighbors with anything they needed. The family thanks Vitas Innovative Hospice Care for all of their care and support provided through his journey. His mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., on Saturday, April 25th, at Ascension Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Vitas Innovative Hospice Care, 4450 W. I am sorry for your loss. I came to Lockheed in 1961. Paul was always ready to help me. He was one of my favorite people.
Paul was liked by everyone.I was honored to know him.

Paul,
Really going to miss all the phone calls asking to borrow our ladder. Hershey is especially going to miss all the bones you used to bring him. Shirley, again if there is anything you need we are right next door.
