Sigmund Biener Obituary

SIGMUND BIENER MELBOURNE BEACH Sigmund Alex ander Biener , Im Here Today, age 74, an engineer, died Monday, February 6, 2006 in Mel bourne, FL. Sig was born in Brooklyn, New York and came to Brevard County in 1982. He retired from Computer Sciences Raytheon as an engineering leader. Over many years he took an active part in the Canaveral Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electron ics Association (AFCEA). For distinguished service to AFCEA and to his country, AFCEA International awarded him their Medal of Merit in 1994. He is survived by his wife, Sue; sons, Daniel and wife, Spomenka of St. Louis and Jo seph of Cape Canaveral; daughters, Tamara Schenberg and husband, David of St. Louis, Lory Blair and husband, Steve, of Lynnville, IN and Rhonda Garmon of Dale, IN; grandchildren, Mark Fletcher, David Garmon, Angie Biener, Joey Garmon, Shane Blair, Jacob Biener, Devon Blair, Elijah Biener, Brian Schenberg and Aaron Biener; great grand children, David and Dana; brother, Larry and wife, Micky of Merritt Island, FL; and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, February 8, 2006 and Thursday, February 9, 2006 at Beach Funeral Home East Chapel from 9 to 11 a.m. Funeral Services will follow at 11 a.m., Thursday. Burial will be at Florida Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be sent to www.beachfuneralhome.com
