William Hyden Obituary
Cocoa, Beach, FL
William H. Hyden, M.D., age 98, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, December 7, 2014. A graduate of the University of Kentucky and the University of Louisville Medical School, he completed his surgical residency at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio and then served one year on staff at the Clinic. Dr. Hyde was one of the first surgeons to establish a practice in Cocoa Beach and served as Chief of Surgery at Cape Canaveral Hospital.
Until the past several years, "Bill" was an avid boater and enjoyed his friendships with a variety of residents of the area.
Dr. Hyden is survived by his wife of 40 years, Elizabeth Moseley Hyden; his daughter, Lois Fein (Richard); granddaughter, Julia Fein; stepson, Phillip Shelby (Janine), and several nieces. He was predeceased by his first wife, Bess Long-Hyden, and daughter, Sally Hyden. The family wishes to thank Kim Bean for her care and kindness.

I'm so deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Dr. Hyden. Although he was my brother's God father, him and his wife Beth always treated me as such. He will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. XOXO
