I have fond memories of Bill's visit to my home in Mechanicsville, Virginia, on a trip that took him and Carole back to Fort Ashby, WV. Though it was the first and only time we met face to face, I already felt I knew him because he was a frequent topic of discussion in letters I received from his mother Wilda in the course of my research on the Daniels family.

Y'all have been on my mind the last couple of days after I ran across an old email. When I did an online search I found the obituary. Prayers for you Carole and the rest of the family. I am so sorry that we never got together. My condolences to all of you.

I'm so sorry I never got to come and meet my Cousin Bill. I hope someone on that side of the family picks up on Bill's years of research.
