Barbara Hanlin Obituary
Barbara will be laid to rest next to her late husband, Robert Sr., in Maplegrove Cemetery, at the convenience of her family.

Barbara was born in Waterloo, N.Y., the only daughter of the late George and Mildred (Siegfried) Ullrich. She graduated from Waterloo High School in 1945. On May 27, 1950, she was united in marriage with Robert Hanlin Sr., a blessed union of 62 years until Bob's passing in 2013. Barbara was primarily a homemaker early on in her marriage, and it wasn't until her children were older that she entered the workforce. She worked for Seneca Clothing in downtown Seneca Falls for a number of years as a bookkeeper.
Her and Robert Sr. enjoyed spending their years together, and after Bob's retirement, the couple were active at Canoga Sportsmen's Club and enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City. Barb was also an avid reader who never missed a day of reading the paper to catch up on the news.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Brenda Geblein; son, Robert (Kathleen) Hanlin Jr.; three grandsons, Adam (Shana) Mazgaj, Kevin (fiancé, Lizz Raithel) Mazgaj, Joe (Nichole Reynolds) Hanlin; four great-grandchildren, Max and Mara Mazgaj, Berkeley and Wesley Hanlin; as well as several nieces and nephews and extended family.
In addition to Robert Sr., Barbara was predeceased by a brother, Richard Ullrich, and son-in-law, Daniel Geblein.

Brenda and Bobby, So sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. What a long, rich life she had.
I can´t help but remember my mom sending me thru our back yards with one of my Mynderse uniforms that was not quite dry yet (from hanging on our clothes line as we did not have a dryer) and asking your mom if she could "help" dry my uniform in your clothes dryer. Ah, the good ol´ days.
Your mom was ALWAYS so nice about it and I was so embarrassed.
