Betty Geraghty Obituary
Family and friends may call Friday (December 9) from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sanderson-Moore Funeral Home, Inc. 32 State St. Seneca Falls. A Graveside service will follow in Spring Brook Cemetery on Gravel Road with Rev. Phil Kasey officiating.
In lieu of flowers, kindly consider contributions to theNorth Seneca Ambulance, Inc. 1645 North Road, Waterloo, N.Y. 13165.
Mrs. Geraghty was born in Tivoli, N.Y., the daughter of Arthur A. and Verna Coston Leno on March 25, 1931. She married Robert E. Geraghty in 1952 and they spent over 60 years of marriage. Robert passed away in 2012. She was Book Store assistant Manager at Eisenhower College formany years. Long time member of the First Presbyterian Church of Seneca Falls, she was Clerk of Session for over 30 years. A member of the Taylor Brown Auxillary where she worked in the gift shop. Active in the Parent Teachers Association, an active Girl Scout Leader and a member ofthe Seneca Falls Business and Professional Club.
She is survived by her children, Kathleen (Pete) Keefer of Seneca Falls, Timothy Geraghty, Seneca Falls, Steven Geraghty of Texas and Maureen (David) Conley of Va; 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 4 nieces.
Betty is predeceased by her husband Robert and her brother Vernon Leno.

Kathy & Family,
So very sorry to hear of Betty's passing. I will always have fond memories of our chats at Huntington Living Center Gift Shop & at Max's Custard for treats after your Friday night mother/daughter dinners. She definitely was a special lady & I am very glad to have had her as a dear friend. My thoughts & prayers are with you all!
