Brian E. "Hummer" Andrews

SENECA FALLS - Brian E. "Hummer" Andrews, 66, a lifelong resident of Seneca Falls, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Geneva General Hospital with his daughters by his side. Honoring Brian's wishes, there will be no public services.

Known to most simply as "Hummer," Brian was the eldest son of Charles and Eleanor (Griggs) Andrews. Brian made a career out of driving truck and operating heavy machinery. He had a deep love for the outdoors, whether it was deer hunting, boating, or simply tinkering with cars and heavy equipment. Brian also enjoyed teaching his granddaughters automotive skills along with craftsmanship. When inside, he could usually be found catching the news, tracking the weather or doing many different home renovations. He truly was a jack of all trades.

One of his greatest joys was spending time with his family, especially during scenic fall foliage trips up north. A proud husband, Brian shared 25 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Lori, until her passing in 2018. Together, they enjoyed concerts, road trips, and spoiling their granddaughters.

Brian is survived by his mother, Eleanor Andrews; his daughters, Samantha and Courtney Andrews; granddaughters, Zyionna and Arianna Moore; his sister, Cheryl (Anthony) Baggetta; his brother, Charles (Cynthia) Andrews Jr.; niece, Caley; nephew, Caleb; and his loyal canine sidekick, Krypto. He also leaves behind extended family and several close friends.

In addition to his wife, Lori, Brian was predeceased by his father, Charles Andrews Sr.
