Edwin Pero Obituary
Friends may call on Saturday, February 15, from 1-3 p.m. at the Perkins-Ames Funeral Home in Gorham.
Memorial contributions in Ed's name can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
Ed was born on August 3, 1954, a son of the late Edwin David and Betty Ann Thompson Pero. He was employed for many years as a machine operator at Mobil Chemical and most recently at Abtex in Dresden. Ed was a great outdoorsman who loved fishing, camping and hiking. He was always up to work on crossword puzzles, but only if they were challenging. Ed had received a great amount of pleasure listening to music. He enjoyed watching sports. Ed loved life and truly lived it to the fullest.
Ed is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jean Marie Dillon Pero; siblings, Betsy (Chuck) Kent, Carol Bourne, Teresa (Jerry) Betts, Anita (John) Bouchinger, Chris (Heather) Pero and Vincent Pero; sister-in-law, Gail Davis; brother-in-law, Clyde Dillon; mother-in-law, Eva Dillon; almost brother, James (Gail) Davis; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Ed was predeceased by his parents; two sons, Jake Pero and Evan Pero; father-in-law, Darwin Dillon; brother-in-law, Ralph Bourne; and sister-in-law, Mary (Cliff) Murphy.
