Ernest W. "Ernie" Westfall Jr

SENECA FALLS - Ernest "Ernie" W. Westfall Jr., 79, of Mynderse St., passed away on Thursday (April 13, 2017) at Clifton Springs Hospital, Clifton Springs, N.Y.
Funeral services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no prior calling hours.

Ernie was born in Waterloo, N.Y. on April 1, 1938, the son of the late Ernest W. Sr. & Shirley Westfall. He was a life resident of Seneca Falls and a 1957 graduate of Waterloo High School. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Intrepid. He was retired from Gould's Pumps of Seneca Falls with over 40 years of service. He was a member of the Waterloo Memorial Post #6433 V.F.W., the Kirk-Casey Post #366 American Legion, Seneca Falls, & the Quarter Century Club of Gould's Pumps. Ernie loved a good game of Euchre and those Tuesday morning breakfast meetings with his brothers. He had a yard full of birdfeeders and just adored his dogs, Digger & Heidi and his son, Mike's dog, Sophia.
He is survived by two sons Michael Westfall, Seneca Falls, Jeffrey (Tammy) Westfall, Seneca Falls; four brothers Richard (Donna) Westfall, Phelps, Arthur (Shirley) Westfall, Waterloo, Gary (Linda) Westfall, Waterloo, Robert (Beth) Westfall, Seneca Falls; his special friend, Margaret Coston, Waterloo; several nieces and nephews. His four-legged grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Ernie was predeceased by his wife, Hazel Reynolds Westfall, who died July 8, 2011.
