Florence Anderson Obituary
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday (February 24) at the Boeheim-Pusateri Funeral Home, 77 William Street Lyons. Services will follow at 1 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in South Lyons Cemetery.
Memorials to 1 St. Lutheran Church, or Activity Fund at the Wayne County Nursing Home.
Florence was born in Lyons on March 21, 1916, daughter of Frank & Emma Schleede Humbert. She retired from the Lyons Elementary School Cafeteria. She was a long time member of the 1 St. Lutheran Church, the quilters of the Church, LCW Church Women, and she did volunteer work with the Boy and Girl Scouts.
Survived by her daughter, Kathleen (Santo) DeSain of Lockport; her son, Richard (Martha) of Webster; son-in-law, Fisk Hayden; grandchildren, Kristin Rivera, Jason DeSain, Andrew (Kelly) Anderson, Mark (Natalie) Anderson, Cathy (Robert) Clar, Steven (Angela) Hayden and Susan (Timothy) Turner; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; as well as nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by daughter, Jean Hayden; her husband, Robert in 2001; granddaughter, Kelly DeSain 2019; brothers, Charles and Fred Humbert.

My sincere sympathy on the loss of your mother/Grandmother. I knew Florence from church and my mother Lois Dolan also worked at the school cafeteria. I would see Florence sitting on her porch on Culver Street when I would walk. She always had a smile.

Your Mom was a good friend of my Mom, Bernice Barclay. I remember Florence from church. She always had a smile on her face and the most wonderful laugh. My condolences to you both.
