Hazel Emerson Obituary
Hazel was born in Hartsville, New York on July 18th, 1925, the daughter of the late, Clifton and Myrtle (Ellerington) Wentworth.
Hazel is survived by her son, J. Edgar (Anita) Emerson Jr.; daughters, Marilyn (Joel) Whitmire and Elaine (Wes) Nesbit; grandchildren, Mark Emerson, Dawn (Jonathon) Hasse, Diane Emerson, Charles (Sherri) Emerson, Keith Emerson, Tim Whitmire, Tanya (Tim) Baker, Anthony Nesbit, and Scott (Emily) Nesbit; great-grandchildren, Brady, Adelyn, Joy and Nathan Emerson, Erik and Ashley Baker, Justin and Benjamin Nesbit; Joshua Hasse; Aeden and Evan Nesbit; and great-great-granddaughter, Arianna (Baker) Meyer; two sisters; Ruth Wentworth of Penn., Naomi (Clyde) Mathewson of Fla; a sister-in-law Leatha (Harold) Wentworth of Dansville, two brother-in-laws, Norm (Bess) Knauss of Fla and Don Reynolds of Penn Yan; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Hazel was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, J. Edgar Emerson Sr. on December 10th, 2008.
Services for Hazel will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
