Jeffrey Payne Obituary
Jeff was born in Geneva, NY on June 25, 1975 and graduated from Penn Yan Academy in 1994. He formerly worked at the Iron Age Company in Penn Yan and for Wegman's in Geneva.
He was predeceased by his stepfather David Nelson in 2020; brother Earl Nelson in 1999; grandparents, Marion Harris and Francis Johnson; and step-grandfather Marshall "Bing" Harris.
He is survived by his mother Diane Nelson of Penn Yan; sister Katrina (Nelson) Morabito of Penn Yan; and niece and nephews, Aaliyah Morabito, August (AJ) Morabito and Adam D. Hullings. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Kim (Keven) Fultz of Dundee, Wendy (Todd) McCutchen of Tennessee.
He played pool for the Yates County Pool League in Penn Yan and was a fan and follower of the band Ruby Shooz. He was also a huge Duke of Hazard's fan and collected their memorabilia.
A graveside memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Sunday, (June 4) at 1 p.m. at the Evergreen Cemetery, Dresden, NY.
