Jack was born the son of the late John and Dorothy (Wilbert) Beha on Saturday (February 28, 1948) in Rochester, N.Y. He graduated from Wayne Central High School and went on to attend college at Cornell University. Upon graduation, Jack worked at Agway in agricultural sales for many years. He then began working for SeedWay as a district manager, where he built not only a career, but made many lifelong friends. Jack took great pride in working with the farmers that he served, and supporting those he worked along side even up until his final days of life.

Jack has been part of the Port Gibson Volunteer Fire Department for almost four decades, serving as treasurer, EMT and instructor; ensuring the success of numerous aspiring EMT's in our community. Among his favorite accomplishments at the fire department was being one half of the Jack and Dave show at the annual awards ceremony, which he co-hosted with his dear friend, Dave Borland. Jack was a proud member of the Sky Rovers Model R/C Flying Club for many years, serving as treasurer and a flight instructor. He enjoyed time flying his model airplanes at the field, while socializing with his fellow members. Jack was a man of great faith and was an active member of St. Anne's Church in Palmyra, where he served as an usher.

Jack was a proud husband, father and grandfather. His happiest moments were spent with his family. He will lovingly be remembered by his wife of 19 years, Laurie; his children Margaret (Dan) DeMagistris, Danielle Roder, Jeremy (Leslie) Beha, Nicole (Dusty) Hunt; grandchildren Blair, Jackson, Grace, Brennan, Kaitlyn and Matthew; special granddogs Raven and Simon.
