Jane, I was a faculty member at TNCC when Joe was Dean of Instruction. He and I really seemed to click. I was just thinking about him today and thought I would Google him and found out that he was gone. I am so sorry. Don´t know if you´ll remember, but my wife Felice and I attended a party at Jack Hill´s house, and Joe decided to jump in the pool with Felice as an unwilling partner. We all thought it was pretty funny. Hope you are doing well.

Our condolences to the Peone family. Joe will truly be missed. One of my fondest memories of Joe was listening to him sing and play his guitar. As children, we would always beg him to play Puff the Magic Dragon and he always would. He also loved Halloween and I remember getting scared when trick or treating at his house because he dressed up in his cap and gown and would sit in the tree in his yard waiting for trick or treaters. He always made us laugh and smile. He had a great personality and will be remembered as some who loved life and lived it to the fullest.
