Larry Bristol Obituary
Calling hours will be held at Park Presbyterian Church in Newark, N.Y. on Friday (June 26) from 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday (June 27) from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. will be held in the church sanctuary. An additional memorial service will be held at the Virgil United Methodist Church on Tuesday, (June 30) at 6:00 p.m.
In memory of Larry, please consider a donation to the Lipson Cancer Center, c/o Rochester General Hospital Foundation, 100 Kings Highway S., Suite 2300, Rochester, N.Y. 14617 in lieu of flowers
Larry was born February 26, 1942 in Cortland, N.Y.; son of Alice (bloomer) and Raymond F. Bristol of Virgil, N.Y. He received his associate degree from SUNY Morrisville and his Bachelor of Agricultural Engineering in 1968 from the University of Georgia. He spent his professional career working as an engineer and a consultant for Harnish & Lookup (Newark, N.Y.), MRB Group and later for Labella Associates (Rochester, N.Y.).
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Ellen (Miller); children Jessica (Dan) Taylor, Justin (Marie) Bristol, Joanna (Torrey) Sokol; several grandchildren and grand-dog Scout.

Dear Bristol Family,
We just learned of Larry's passing. Mike and he spent many early Sunday mornings at Newark CC. playing golf. He was a great guy with a beautiful family. We know that he will be greatly missed. Ellen and Family,
Our time at Clerbrook in FL was all too short but I came to love that guy with the wonderful twinkle in his eye. I learned that he was a very sensitive man of very high morals who was very close to his family and a good friend to many. I know you will miss him terribly, but you were so lucky to have had him and I'm sure you're wonderful memories will soon overtake your grief.

We are very sorry for your loss. We enjoyed many rounds of golf with Larry at Colebrook as well as some pot lucks with both Larry and Ellen. He was a very fine and gentle man.

Larry can best be described as a people person - a consummate professional that was always guided by the highest ethical standards.
I greatly appreciated his enthusiasm for LaBella Associates and the balanced perspective he brought in his approach to business opportunities.
