Lori McConnell Obituary
Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. until 12 Noon Tuesday (July 17) at the Sanderson-Moore Funeral Home, Inc. 32 State St. Seneca Falls. Private interment will be in St. Columbkille Cemetery.
Born in Seneca Falls the daughter of Richard and LaVonne Gillum McConnell on December 11, 1964. Lori spent most of her life in the Seneca County area. She enjoyed crafts and decorating.
She is survived by her mother, LaVonne (Richard) Taylor of Forest Port; a daughter, Lora (Andrew) Bennett of Waterloo; two sons Ryan L. VanDoren of Seneca Falls and Matthew R. (Ashlie) VanDoren of Seneca Falls; brothers Timothy Brock, Waterloo, Donald Brock, North Carolina and Ronald Brock of Ithaca; grandchildren Jordan, Logan, Gianna, Presley, Darin, Greysen, Cole, Landen, Gabe and Liv; several nieces and nephews.

To Vonnie, Matt, Ryan, Lora,Donnie, Ronnie, and all her family and friends and grandkids...this was one loving beautiful woman inside and out. She raised three beautiful children that are my cousins. She married my cousin LeRoy and yes they married young but they both did a wonderful job raising the kids. Lori was loved by anyone that met her...just find her beautiful memories she left for you...If I wasn't so far away I would be there... :(

My dearest, perfect niece Lori Ann,
You were a gift from heaven for your mother and me. I remember changing your diapers and, later, spending time with you playing games.
When you became a beautiful, young woman, we became as much best friends and confidants as niece/uncle and we would stay up to the wee hours of the morning talking about our life's issues.
Still later as I became an old man and unable to stay up late, you would worry about me and my health but we still found time to have our serious talks along with some laughs.
I miss you so very much already and that hole in my heart will never be filled.
