Mark Gray Obituary

COVINGTON, Ky./WATERLOO - Mark R. Gray, 62, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Covington, Ky. on Thursday (September 30, 2021).

There will be no calling hours and no funeral service.

A private memorial service will be held for family and close friends on Sunday (December 12).

Kindly consider contributions to the Beverly Animal Shelter in memory of Mark.

Mark was born October 6, 1958, the son of the late Robert A. Gray and Shirley A. Gray. He was a graduate of Waterloo Central School (1977) and served in the US Air Force from 1977 to 1997. He then worked at OSHA in Cincinnati, Ohio for approximately 20 years. Prior to moving to Kentucky last year, Mark lived in Cincinnati and was an avid Cincinnati Bengals fan.

He is survived by his children, Mark R. Gray II and Lydia Roe; nephew, Jesse (Laura DiMarco) Gray; sister, Donna (Greg) Loeb; mother, Shirley Gray; step-brother, Scott Sherwood; step-sister, Susan Sherwood-Skinner; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Mark was predeceased by his father, Robert A. Gray; brother, Gary R. Gray; daughter, Michelle N. Gray; and step-brother, Christopher Sherwood.

We are so sorry to hear about Mark. We were together at RAF Upper Heyford UK and Aviano AB in Italy. We had some fun times together-so many great memories. We send our deepest sympathies.
