Mary Ann Poling Obituary
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday (January 27, 2017) at Raymer-Kepner FuneralHome. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday (January 28, 2017) at St. Mark Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Manning Cemetery in Manning, S.C.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mary Ann Poling to St. Mark Catholic Church, 14740 StumptownRd, Huntersville, N.C. 28078.
Mary Ann was born June 4, 1934 in Geneva, N.Y. to the late Joseph and Jane Hoey Spratt. She was a bookkeeper in the accounting department at the Shaw Air Force Base Exchange. Mary Ann loved her Catholic faith and made sure her family did also. She enjoyed reading, good food, sitting in the sun at the beach,watching football and NASCAR racing. Mary Ann was a strong-hearted women who loved her family and everyone knew her as Grandma.
Mary Ann is survived by her daughters Sandra Anne Poling of Huntersville, and Melissa Poling Donahue (Patrick) of Cornelius; grandchildren Alison Poling McCabe (Kris), Tyler Poling, Kyle Poling, Jordin Donahue and Blaine Donahue; great-granddaughter, Maryn McCabe.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Poling; brother,William Spratt.

I was stationed with her late husband Dick at the Shaw AFB NCO Leadership school and he was tops. Mary Ann was a wonderful wife and person. They were always in my heart and thoughts. Paul T. McDaniel
