Michael Buck Obituary
Friends may call at the DeVaney-Bennett Funeral Home, 181 N. Main St., Geneva, on Friday, (April 19), from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Thomas P. Mull officiating.
Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the Beverly Animal Shelter, 50 E. River Rd., Waterloo, NY 13165 or to the Committee on Firematic's of the Geneva Fire Department.
Michael was born in Geneva and was a lifelong resident. He was the son of the late Francis and Mary McCormack Buck. He was employed at DiDuro's Shoe Store for over 40 years and retired from Super Casuals. Michael formerly worked at BonaDent of Waterloo. He loved walking around town, he loved his animals, car racing, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his son, Michael (Marie Agnello) Buck of Geneva; his brother, Richard (Marian) Buck of Geneva; his sisters, Frances Carroll of Geneva, Barbara Mastellar of Geneva, Linda (James) Reed of Geneva, and Joan (Michael) Estep of Baldwinsville; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Suzanne; his sister, Mary Bonacci; his brother, James Buck; his brothers-in-law, John F. Carroll Jr. and Dale Mastellar; and his nephew, Christopher Carroll.

I was shocked and sad to hear of Michael's passing. He was always happy and smiling whenever I saw him (and best man at my wedding). I'll miss his FB posts. My condolences to the family.

I met Michael in the first grade. Last saw him at DHS graduation in `71. Such a nice and good person who I had the opportunity to cross paths in our early years. So very sad you are gone. We´ll cross paths again my fellow Saint!!

Mike was a classmate and friend of mine in high school. Although we did not keep up with each other after high school (I took off to join the Navy immediately after.), I never forgot about Mike. I was sad to read about his passing. May he rest in peace. It seems that Mike was a lover of animals, as I am, and, per his wish, I have contributed to Beverly Animal Shelter.

Always the life of gatherings and parties as far back as I can remember. You always kept everyone smiling and laughing. You also offered serious and deep conversations. You were that kind of friend that everyone needed when things got stressful in life. You were such a devoted husband to one of my best friends and a wonderful father to your boys. A cherished brother to a large family it´s only for certain a broken link in that special chain. You and Suzi both ended up many times at my own family gatherings. You became part of our family. The ones we love shine for us in the stars but also shine in us, too. In the good things we do for the world and each other. In memories which are never lost. In our hearts, forever. My deepest condolences to the beautiful families and my prayers that you may rest in Forever Paradise with your Suzi.
