I met Mickey when I was a new teacher and he was the oldest kid in a great family. His family is still great, and I finally learned how to be a seasoned teacher, but I still remember my great first students, like Mickey.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Betty, and Mickeys entire family, friends , and co-workers. So sorry to hear of his passing. He came to my yard sales and bought a few bicycles from me to restore. He was a very kind young man. He will be so missed. God bless Mickey, and his entire family now and always.

Mickey went from classmate in junior high and high school to friend to family... our lives are forever touched by memories of the laugh, the stories, his love of all things old ( old bikes, cars, and memorabilia of all kinds) and who can forget his signature converse sneakers (Chuck Taylor´s)! Mickey will live on in our hearts for all of eternity.
** In honor of Mickey, wear your favorite converse sneakers on Saturday.

Mickey always greeted everyone with that warm smile. He was a very special man, husband, father and grandfather. Having witnessed Betty and Mickey´s love over the years it was obvious how much they loved each other. Betty and girls I know there are no words that can ease your pain and fill your void. I pray you can feel the amount of love and prayers being sent by so many. I pray the lord wrap you all in his loving arms and give you strength.
