Pamela Adams Obituary
STANLEY – Pamela M. Adams, 59, passed away on July 11, 2017, after battling cancer for many years.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday (July 16) . at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday (July 17) at St. John's Lutheran Church, 514 East Swamp Rd., Penn Yan, NY 14527. Burial will be in Gorham Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Gorham Fire Hall.
Memorial contributions may be made to Embrace Your Sisters, P.O. Box 322, Canandaigua, NY 14424.
Pam was a 1976 graduate of Penn Yan Academy. She worked at the NYS Experiment Station in Geneva for 34 years, retiring as "Queen of the Lab". Pam was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Pam was an amazing wife, mother and friend. Her positive zest for life was contagious, and she was always there to support anyone who needed a helping hand. She loved her garden, was an avid race fan, and wine connoisseur, who enjoyed leading wine tours for family and friends. She will always be lovingly and affectionately known as "Positive Pam."
Pam is survived by her husband of almost 32 years, Leigh Adams; three daughters Nikki Adams, Angela Tevels and Jessica (Jacob) Runner; two grandchildren Aliyah Eldridge and Steven Eldridge; mother-in-law, Shirley Adams; brother, Stephen Allen; sister-in-law, Linda Flood; four nieces and nephews Sara McGee, Scott Hammond, Scott Flood and Jill Flood; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pam was predeceased by her parents Frederick Allen and Helene Hickey Allen; and her father-in-law, Richard Adams.

My college years were memorable for many reasons, but Pam and The Station were an integral part of learning what it was like in the real world. Great personality and always with a smile, she loved talking about everything and anything. Dave was the Boss, Jeff was second in command, but Pam taught me the ropes. I am saddened to lose those that had an impact in my life. Rest In Peace.
