Patricia Roll Obituary
Friends may call from 1:00 p.m to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday (August 15).
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday (August 16) at the Clifton Springs Methodist Church, with the Rev. Lynn Spence officiating and the Rev. Michael Ware as the co-officiant. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Clifton Springs.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Pat may be made to the House of John, 14 Spring Street, Clifton Springs, NY 14432 or the Lipson Cancer Institute, 2 Coulter Road, Clifton Springs, NY 14432.
Pat was born on September 6, 1958, in Clifton Springs, N.Y., the daughter of the late David and Hildreth "Birdie" Roll. Pat was a graduate of Midlakes High School, class of 1976. She always enjoyed a good joke. Pat and her sister-in-law, Carolynn, had a long standing tradition of who could come up with the most sarcastic birthday card, which brought many laughs. Pat's faith was second only to the love she had for her family.
Pat is survived by her brother, Daniel (Carolynn) Roll of Fairview, Pa.; niece, Mary K. Roll of Erie, Pa.; nephew, Matthew V. (Victoria Coggins) Roll of Winston-Salem, N.C.; great-nephews Aidan Moore and Theodore Roll; uncle, William Steele of Waterloo, N.Y.; aunt, Sharon Slagle of Fayetteville, N.Y.; as well as many cousins
She was preceded in death by her niece, Emily S. Moore; and nephew, Christopher R. Roll.
Pat's family would like to give a special thank you to Kathy Mattoon and Penny Robinson for all of their help, love and compassion they showed Pat over the last several years. They would also like to thank Dr. Ignaczak and his staff for the wonderful care Pat received during her battle.
