Paul Hulster Obituary
Friends may call on Tuesday (Nov. 28) from 5-7 p.m. at the Cheney Funeral Home 70 Main Street Phelps.
It is requested that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the Buckhorn Sportsman's Club, 326 Gifford Road Phelps, NY 14532.
Paul was born on December 13, 1936, in Newark, N.Y. the son of the late Paul L. and Lillian Shell Hulster. Paul has lived in Phelps all his life. He was a member of St. Francis Church. He retired after 33 years from Mobil Chemical as an Electrical Engineer. Paul was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a lifetime member of the Buckhorn Sportsman's Club. Paul loved riding his Harley Trike and traveling all over with his wife, Pat.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Pat Hulster; daughter, Lori (Harold "James") Goodall of Palmyra; son, Michael Hulster of Phelps; grandchildren Maria (Devin) Umberger,
Lacy (Eric) Young, Josef Goodall; great-grandchildren Jillian, Travis, Bentley, Dominic and Jase.

It's been a little over a month now, and i still miss him so very much...Especially with Christmas being just a few days away. My Grandpa made the holidays extra special for me and my brother, as we were growing up. I'll never forget the year i found out, that Grandpa, was the one behind all the Christmas magic, in our household! We all know that Santa won't come unless everyone is in bed, and i had snuck out of my bedroom that Christmas Eve night, like every curious child anticipating Santa's visit, and to my surprise, the milk was gone, the cookies were half eaten already, and Grandpa was sitting on the couch, watching tv! I had put it together on my own, of course, and naturally, i was kinda bummed at that time, but now that i am grown, and have 3 handsome boys of my own, I can't help but feel, truly blessed, and I am so lucky to have such loving memories. I will do my best to keep those happy moments flowing, instead of the tears...."Merry Christmas Grampa!" I hope you are dancing with the angels everytime Gram plays, "Blue Christmas", by the one and only, "Elvis Presley!"

I have known you my whole life...you used to drive us to Girl Scout Camp, then help us with our woodpiles and tents when needed. Pat, Mike and Lori...you are all like family so I was so very sorry to hear about Paul. May peace be with all of you.

Happy Thanksgiving Grampa!! Today, I am celebrating all the memories we've had, and truly counting each one as a special blessing. What a wonderful man. Where do i begin well when i first met him it was at Pats Kountry Kitchen. He was always nice to everyone he was always friendly and smiling always said hello just a great man i always called him pops i will always remember him and i truely was blessed to be able to have met him and have all the great times and memories.
