Phillip Allison Obituary
Phil was born in Penn Yan on July 24, 1935, the son of the late Percy and Mildred (Johnson) Allison. Phil was a lifelong resident of Penn Yan. He honorably served in the United States Army as a young man. Phil built a career and retired from American Can Company in Geneva working as a machinist. Phil enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating on Keuka Lake. He was a lifetime member of the Penn Yan American Legion and Seneca Lake Duck Club where he enjoyed seeing friends.
Phil is survived by his loving companion of 22 years, Sue Jepsen; sons, Chad Allison (Susan Polizzi) and Kipp Allison; six grandchildren Justin, Nicole, Amanda, Chad Jr., Christopher and Melissa as well as many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son Phillip J. Allison and his siblings.
Following with Phil's wishes, there are no services. Weldon Funeral Home in Penn Yan is handling arrangements.
