Randall Marks Obituary
Friends may call from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday (March 5) at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday (March 6) at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Stanley. Burial will be in St. Theresa's Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund, St. Theresa's Church, c/o Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, 210 Keuka St., Penn Yan, N.Y., 14527.
Randy was born in Clifton Springs, N.Y. on October 13, 1960, the son of the late Donald and Alice (Carroll) Marks of Stanley. Randy was a strong environmentalist, with a love of the outdoors and photography. He had a special passion for the lake, which is where he loved to be.
Randy is survived by one sister, Mary (Terry) Bodine of Stanley; three brothers, Donald (Diana) Marks of Middlesex, Timothy (Catherine) Marks of Stanley and Christopher Marks of Mendon; 11 nieces and nephews; and 13 great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, John Marks and Robert Marks; and sister, Helen (Marks) Simpson.

I am so sorry for your loss. "Uncle Randy" has been a quiet presence in our lives for decades. Randy never hesitated to spend so much quality time with his brother Christopher and nephew Robert doing things like boating, fishing, bike riding, and camping. His love of nature and easy smile will never be forgotten. I cherish a beautiful wooden rocking chair Randy bought for me when Robert was born which has rocked four babies since and will always be treasured in our family. Peace to all of his family.
