Services will be private. Burial will be in Gorham Cemetery.

Babe was born on February 28, 1936 to the late Howard and Dicie (Burgess) Polmanteer. He was a graduate of Gorham Central School. Babe was very active in High School sports and is in the Marcus Whitman Hall of Fame. He was an avid bowler, often able to bowl 300 games. Babe enjoyed hunting, fishing and the Boston Red Socks. He is retired from the International Paper Company in Geneva. Babe was a talented caricature artist.
He is survived by his five children Linda (Scott) Fonda, Robert "David" Polmanteer, Amy DeLong, Carol Ann Polmanteer and Laurie Polmanteer; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and his loving friend, Jan.
Babe was predeceased by his parents.
