My condolences to his family for your loss. I was shocked to hear Sudsie had passed. I wish I had the chance to tell him one more time how much I really appreciated his help and friendship. He was such a fun teacher to teach with. I learned a lot with Bob, the best of what I learned was about life, having a passion for what you teach every day, and finding the JOY everyday. "Find the Joy!" "Don't sit on your brains" "Bahooda" He had some great Bob-sayings. I miss teaching, chatting about adventures and life, getting some suds with Sudsie, and sharing a laugh with him. Bob, you are missed and "You go girl!"

We are saddened to learn about the passing of Robert Sutherland. Our family is thankful to have had the opportunity to meet and talk with him over the time his mother Kate, wintered at our cottage on Crescent Beach. Sincerely, Ted & Becky Hall

The Sutherland Family, I'm so sorry for your loss of Bob. I know this is a loss to the entire family as you are 1 for all family of Ernie & Katherine. I knew Bobby as a little boy playing with my daughter, Mary Jo. They spent many days, of fun, together. His loss will be felt by all of you forever. My prayers are with all of you. Barbara Maher

My sincerest condolences to the Sutherland family. Sudsie was a tough coach and I liked him a lot. The timing of the email that DE sent out is bizarre because I was just thinking about him earlier today.

My sincerest condolences to the Sutherland family. Sudsie was a wonderful influence on this young man he coached and genuinely cared for. I enjoyed laughing with him, getting "chewed out" by him and learning how to be passionate about the things we loved. He got me into SCUBA, and let me help him pull off an incredible practical joke on his office mate. He is missed.
