Roger Youngs Obituary

SENECA FALLS - Roger A. Youngs, 64, passed away in his home on (November 18, 2011) after a relentless, courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family.
Calling hours on Friday, December 2, 2011, will be from 3 to 5 p.m. at Waterford Gardens Club House, Fishers, Indiana followed by a celebration of his life and military honors.

Roger was born on May 14, 1947, and raised in Seneca Falls. He was a graduate of St. Bonaventure University and served in the US Army. He moved to Indianapolis in 1998 to pursue his career in the Credit Union Industry. He retired from a successful career in the banking and credit union arena. He taught classes for the American Institute of Banking, Treasurer of Shared Branching/New York State Credit Union League, board member for Midstates Corporate Credit Union, and did extensive lobbying for various credit union issues in New York and Indiana. He also received the NAFCU 2009 Credit Union of the Year Award. He was the former CEO of Power Federal Credit Union, Syracuse, and the former CEO of Finance Center Federal Credit Union, Indianapolis, Ind.
A devoted husband and father to three sons, Roger is survived by his wife of 38 years, Mary Ellen and sons and daughters in law, Mike (Misty), Jack (Nichole), Casey (Beth); seven grandchildren, Emma, Kelsey, Gray, Jesse, Brody, Natalie and Carrigan; his sisters Martha Uticone, Nancy Mitchell and brother Tom Youngs.

God Bless my old snowball throwing, altar boy buddy!!!! There are too many good memories to even start to mention!! Rog was VERY special to me and will always be close to my heart. I worked with Roger for almost 10
years. He was the best leader that I have ever worked with. He was able to focus on issues and
