Brenda Byrd Obituary

Mrs. Brenda Ann Byrd, 50, of Canton passed away Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, at Floyd Medical Center in Rome. Mrs. Byrd was a loving wife, mama and nana. She attended Hillside Community Church and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Ricky Byrd of Canton; children, Jeremy (Tekia) Tallant of Dawsonville, Amber Tallant of Canton; stepchildren, Ricky Byrd, Daniel Byrd, David Byrd, Stacey Potter, Karen Angel; brothers, Charles Hansard, Henry Hansard, Raymond Hansard, Tommy Hansard, Jimmy Hansard; sister, Henrietta Hansard; 12 grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Jan. 2, at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Russell Murdock and the Rev. Tony Roughton officiating. Interment followed in Rolling Hills Memory Gardens.
Sosebee Funeral Home in Canton is honored to serve the family.
