Manuela Sandoval Obituary

Manuela DeAnda Sandoval, 95, passed away peacefully January 21, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born April 1, 1927, in Morelos Coahuila, Mexico, and was the oldest of five children born to Lucas and Amada DeAnda. Manuela married Geronimo F. Sandoval, July 24, 1941 and he passed away July 7, 1980. Manuela enjoyed crafts, and above all, sewing and Bingo. She will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Manuela was preceded in death by her parents, Lucas and Amada DeAnda; her husband, Geronimo F. Sandoval; her daughters, Olivia (Jamie) Gutierrez, Carmen Acosta, and Anadelia Avalos; family members, Jose Angel Salazar, Jose Marie Fuentes, Donna Marie Mendez, Antonio Rodriquez, Amilio Calderon, Marlando Talamantes, Josiah Baltezar and Sandra Gutierrez. She is survived by her sisters, Francisca Campo and Paulita Salazar; her daughters, Mary (Jose) Flores, Rosalinda (Manuel Sr.) Talamantes, Rosenda (Luis) Rosas; sons, Geronimo Sandoval, Andres (Arlene) Sandoval, Cruz (Jane) Sandoval and John (Brenda) Sandoval; and 251 grandchildren, great-grandchildren through the 6th generation. A Visitation and Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held January 29, 2023 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at Heer Mortuary in Fort Morgan. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Helena Catholic Church Monday, January 30, 2023 in Fort Morgan with a dinner to follow.
