Robert Good

1925 - 2018

Robert (Bob) Good, 93, lifetime Morgan County, Colorado resident passed away Monday, August 20, 2018 at Chelsea Place Memory Care Community, Aurora, CO. He was born February 18, 1925 in Loveland, CO to Howard and Esther Good. Growing up in Morgan County, he was a 3 rd generation Colorado farmer. He married Mary Foos, September 12, 1948 and soon after began his own farming operation. They raised their 4 children in Fort Morgan. During these years, Bob devoted time and energy researching the many aspects of farming and was well versed and dedicated to learning new and innovative ways to streamline his farming operation. Also, while raising their family, Bob and Mary, along with their children and grandchildren, enjoyed may travels, experiencing different destinations and making wonderful memories.Living an active lifestyle, Bob and Mary spent many years enjoying the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains. A second home in Dillon, with a spectacular view of the Gore Range, offered many activities they shared with family and friends. Skiing, biking, hiking and boating on Lake Dillon were favorites.In 2014, Bob and Mary returned to their primary residence in Fort Morgan, where he lived his remaining years.Robert (Bob) Good is survived by his wife of 70 years, Mary Good, his son, Arnold Good, three daughters, Rhonda Christensen, Judy Primmer, Elizabeth Good, 7 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister, Furn Roberts. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Avalon Hammond.Cremation and a private celebration of life, at a later date, were Bob's final wishes.
