Wendy Hellmuth Obituary

Wendy Kay Hellmuth, 55, Salina, died February 16, 2014. Wendy was born March 6, 1958 in Fort Morgan, CO, the daughter of Russel and Joyce (Harden) Scofield. She was a Para-Educator for USD 305 at Cottonwood Elementary and helped with daycare and instruction at Ashby House. Wendy was kind and loving and always put everyone else first.
She is survived by her husband, Chris, of the home; her sons, Brandon, Salina, and Tyler (Alena) Hellmuth, K.C.; daughter, Stephanie Hellmuth, Salina; her mother, Joyce Scofield, Wiggins, CO; and her mother-in-law, Darlene Dunning, Fort Morgan, CO. Wendy has eight grandchildren; two brothers, Randy Scofield, Colorado Springs, CO, and Russ Scofield, Jr., Hillrose, CO; and two sisters, Cindy Cardwell, Wiggins, CO, and Cathy Scofield, Longmont, CO.
Memorial services will be held in Fort Morgan, CO, at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 21, 2014, at the Christ's Church of Morgan County, 330 State, Fort Morgan, CO. Inurnment will be in Fort Morgan. So sorry to hear of the death of Wendy after her medical struggles. She was such a sweet teenager, wife and mother as I remember her when living in Morgan. God knows what is best for us, but accepting that is sometimes very hard. May God be with you at this very sad time.
