ALTA CARTER Obituary

ALTA M. CARTER, 66, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2022. Born Jan. 21, 1956, she was a daughter of Frank and Virginia Shelton. Alta's hobbies included fishing, playing cards and dice with her family and spending time with little Lawton. She is survived by children, Brian (Jackie) and Melinda (David) Beldon; grandchild, Lawton Carter III; siblings, Ray, Cletis, Linda (Floyd) Robbin, Ginnie, and Ruby; and several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Service is noon Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022, at Midwest Funeral Home, 1415 W. Coliseum Blvd., Fort Wayne (IN 46808), with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, 2022, at the funeral home.
