Anna Selby Obituary

Anna Marie (Ware) Selby, 81, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on October 16, 2025, Born to the late Wayne and Pauline (Argerbright) Ware, Anna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She found joy in caring for her family and making everyone feel special with her kindness and warmth.

Anna loved to bake - especially her seasonal pies and her famous Christmas cut-out cookies, which will be fondly remembered by all who tasted them. She also enjoyed playing cards, doing puzzles, and spending time with her loved ones.

A proud and successful Avon representative for many decades, Anna built lasting friendships through her work. She cherished time spent fishing, camping, and making memories with her family.

While she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort knowing she is reunited with her beloved husband of 51 years - her lifelong love, who preceded her in death.

Anna is survived by her 4 loving daughters, Kathy (Larry) Kruckeberg, Lisa (Ezequiel) Herrera, Tina (Donald) Lozano, and Joanie (Brad) Engel. Her brothers Wayne (Julie) Ware Jr., Tim Ware, and Gary (Sally) Ware. She leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alan Lyn Selby, her brothers Mark (Vesta) Ware and Rex Ware.

A celebration of life will happen on July 25, 2026 for family, friends, and loved ones.
