BETH MEYER Obituary

BETH ANN MEYER, 54, of Fort Wayne, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022, at Visiting Nurse Hospice Home. She was the daughter of the Duane Meyer and Donna (Grover) Meyer, who survives. Beth graduated from Northrop High School and obtained a Paralegal Certificate. She worked for 36 years at the law firm of Baker and Daniels, serving in many roles, most recently as the Office Administrator. Beth also proudly served in the Indiana Air National Guard for 12 years. She was a compassionate and caring person who dearly loved her family, friends, animals, tractor pulls, camping, and Chicago Bears football (when winning). Spending leisure time at Lost Peninsula Marina in Erie, Mich. on Mike's boat with newfound friends and traveling to Fort Meyers, Fla. to spend days on the beach were also much loved pastimes. Beloved family left behind include her mother, Donna Meyer; sister, Linda (Wayne Skidgel) Tagtmeyer; nephews, Jeffrey (Tiffany) Scott and Matthew (Alesha) Scott; great-niece, Layla Dawn Scott; longtime boyfriend, Michael Fisher; many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, including furry friends Eli and Stubby. At Beth's request, there will be no viewing or service at this time. A planned Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring. Requested memorials may be made to Humane Fort Wayne, 4914 S. Hanna St., Fort Wayne (IN 46806); Great Dane Rescue, Inc., P.O. Box 5543, Plymouth (MI 48170); or Riley Children's Hospital, 705 Riley Hospital Dr., Indianapolis (IN 46202). When I think of Beth, I will remember her fierce love for family and friends, her smile and contagious laugh, and the oh so many hilarious adventures we shared back in the good old days.
Much love and sympathy to her family.
