Jody Lynn Lomas

Jody Lynn Lomas, 62, of Lafayette, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at The Springs of Lafayette

She was born August 30, 1963, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Robert and Ellen Stellhorn.

Jody was a graduate of Northrop High School.

She worked as an admin and supervisor for GTE and Verizon for years.

She enjoyed spending time with her friend Roy and many members of staff at The Springs of Lafayette for the past 10 years.

In her early life Jody enjoyed playing shuffleboard, spending time outside and being around any type of water. She was also an avid Purdue fan and enjoyed many types of music.

In loving memory, Jody is cherished by her daughter, Alicia Jefferies of Fort Wayne, IN; son, Gary (Najla) Jefferies, Jr. of Westfield, IN; son, Robert Gladieux of Lafayette, IN; grandsons, Blake and Brennan Jefferies of Westfield, IN; sister, Sheryl (Mike) Figg of Cookville, TN; sister, Toni Worrel of Anderson, SC; and nieces, Ashley Worrel and Jerrica James both, of Clarksville, TN.

Jody was preceded in death by her father, Robert Stellhorn and her mother, Ellen Dodson.

Visitation will be from 2pm until 5pm on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Soller-Baker Funeral Homes and Crematory – Lafayette Chapel.
