Jeff Castle

Jeffrey David Castle, age 63, of New Haven, IN, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2025. Born on November 4, 1962, he was the son of the late Fred J. and Vesta (Nowell) Castle. Jeff was a 1981 graduate of Northrop High School in Fort Wayne. He worked as an HVAC technician at Current Mechanical for over 23 years.

When not working, Jeff enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles. He had an absolute passion for drag racing, both as a driver and a spectator. He also enjoyed dirt bike racing and traveling, especially to Tennessee and Florida. Some of Jeff's greatest loves in life included his 1968 Camero, his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, and his dogs, Rocky and Dozer. Above all, he loved his family most. He will be remembered for his ability to make others laugh, as he was never at a loss to tell a good joke.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 10 years, Donna Castle; brothers, Fred (Cherri) Castle and Tom (Darby Zell) Castle; nieces, Lindsay (Brandon) Garrison and Kristen (Joe) Nuthals; stepchildren, Heather Depew (grandchildren, Tyler, Emorel, and Ember) of Southbend,IN; Chad Stahl (grandchildren, Lylyan and Emma) of Fort Wayne, IN; and Martina (Brian) Dennison (grandchildren, Bently, Kaden, Aspen, and Charles) of Fort Wayne, IN. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents; and mother-in-law, Mary Huff.

A funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, February 2, 2026, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805 with visitation held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Fond memories and condolences can be left at www.divinemercyfuneralhome.com for the family.
