BRANDON ADAMS Obituary

BRANDON M. ADAMS, 35, died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017, in the home that he shared with his partner, Molly Brineman and their daughter Charly. Born Jan. 29, 1982, in Fort Wayne, and from that day forward Brandon changed and touched the lives of many people. He was adopted by the Adams family and when his mother passed away he moved to Leo, Ind., and graduated from Leo High School. He spent his adult life in Fort Wayne and was very involved in his community. He lived for the past several years in the 46808 area and would always say, "The 808 is great". He was a loving and playful father to two daughters, Kaye Alice Adams (8) and Charly Sue BrinemanAdams (3). He loved sharing music and literature with his daughters. He enjoyed reading the Harry Potter series with the girls before bedtime, and used such a great Hagrid voice that it really brought the story to life. Both girls remember dancing with their father to music, and spending Saturdays at Rock the Plaza. Music was an inspirational part of his life; he was known to get groups of friends singing songs together. Brandon is remembered by family and friends as being an intelligent, loving, creative soul who could spark conversation with anyone, anywhere, anytime. He was a teacher in the school of life that sometimes had no rules. He would share a clove with anyone - even if he only had one left. He was finishing up his senior year at IPFW, working on his bachelor's degree in art. He worked as an artist, focusing his medium on glass. He called himself a, "Lampworking Class Hero". He was a bright light, and though he will be greatly missed, everyone's love for him will not fade away. Brandon is survived by his partner, Molly Brineman; daughters, Kaye Alice Adams and Charly Sue BrinemanAdams; parent, Thomas Stilley; brothers, William Patterson, Thomas Stilley, James Sandman, Thomas Patterson, Larry Patterson, and James William Sandman; and sisters, Stephanie Adams, Renee Adams, Ashley Patterson, Lisa Jenkins, and Jamie Beck. He was preceded in death by parents, Alma Kaye Adams, Herbert Arthur Adams and Carolyn Stilley. A viewing and farewell gathering is from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017, at Midwest Funeral Home, 4602 Newaygo Road, Fort Wayne (IN, 46808). The viewing will consist in two parts. I only got to know Brandon for a short period of time but with that he impacted my life greatly. He always talked about his two beautiful kids.He was great dad to them. He had the most wisdom, and easy going personality that would fill any room he stepped into. Always protective of his friends and family. Hope to see you in another life time. I did not know Brandon well, but we have a lot of mutual friends. He would come out to watch my husband play music whenever they played shows and I always appreciated that. In the few times I talked to him, one on one, he came across to me as a genuine, good human being & father who just wanted to enjoy life & art in all its various forms. My heart goes out to Molly & his kids. He may no longer be here in physical form, but the spirit & light he seemed to exude at all times will never go away or be extinguished. Farewell, and good luck on yourjourney in the next realm, Brandon.
