BRENDAN HARTMAN Obituary

BRENDAN MICHAEL HARTMAN, 21, of Fort Wayne, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at his residence. Born Feb. 11, 2001, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of Jeffrey and Brenda (Woodward) Hartman. He graduated from Wayne High School in 2019. He worked as a manager at Taco Bell. Brendan enjoyed playing drums, tennis and video games; spending time with family; and traveling with his girlfriend. He is survived by his parents, Jeffrey and Brenda Hartman; sister, Veronica Hartman; maternal grandparents, Susan McKale and Ronald Woodward; girlfriend, Emily Penrod; cats, Keke, Leo Bear and Bebe Ash; and a rabbit, Rex. Brendan was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Robert and Patricia Hartman; step grandpa, Donald McKale; and an uncle, Michael Hartman. Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2022, at Saint Peter's Catholic Church, 518 East Dewald St., Fort Wayne (IN 46803), with visitation one hour prior to service. Visitation also from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2022, at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne (IN 46804). Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to the family.
