CYNTHIA ANN GROTHOUSE

CYNTHIA ANN GROTHOUSE, 62, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021, 7:40 a.m., at Parkview Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of Rudolph Grot house and the late Judith (Reddington) Grothouse. Cindy loved the outdoors, her dogs and enjoyed landscaping her yard. She loved reminiscing with her family and friends. Her heart was as big as the world and she would do anything for anyone, never putting herself first. Cindy's handmade cards were always a treasure to receive. She had a strong Catholic faith and was a very spiritual person. Everyone that met her was a better person. She was a 1977 graduate of Delphos St. John's High School, in Delphos, Ohio, and a graduate of University of St. Frances, obtaining her Master's degree in Special Education. She had taught at Elida Schools for many years. Cindy was part owner of Grothouse Plumbing and Heating. She is survived by Patsy Denny; brothers, Charles (Cindy) Grothouse and James (Cathie) Grothouse, both of Delphos, Ohio; and sisters, Laura (Jay) Ulm and Cheryl (Don) Ditto, both of Delphos, Ohio, and Lynn (Joel) Brentlinger of Nashville, Tenn. A mass of Christian resurrection is 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2021, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Road, Fort Wayne (IN 46815), with calling one hour prior.
