I met this crazy man on a bike and liked him instantly. Every time I rode my bike past his house he always waved me in for a chat. You will be greatly missed but I know you're out riding and enjoying yourself. Watch over the rest of us young'uns. Will expect you to be my guardian angel when I'm on my bike! RIP Dan

To the family of Dan, a Leo Classmate. Having moved to Montana in 1977, I've missed home/local connections. As of late with more of us PASSING ONWARD, I find Fort Wayne Newspapers an informative link. I'm sorry for your loss and send blessings to Dan & all of you. I am sorry for our loss. I worked with Dan at Benteler. We also did a bit of traveling together. We worked at the plant in Galesburg near Kalamazoo and we experienced hurricane Ivan while working in Opelika, Alabama.
We had a beverage or two at my house in Auburn on several occasions. I will always have the best thoughts of Dan in my mind. Again, sorry for our loss.

you were the best maintenance man AWS ever employed! I loved when you stopped by the file room and we'd talk...you were a man of few words, but full of wisdom, wit, and FUN! You are leaving a ginormous hole...there's only one Dan Lovett! Peace to you and your family.

I am so sorry for your loss. I met Danny back in the mid-70's and thought he was the nicest and funniest person I had ever met. He had this blue Corvette convertible and thought I should buy one, too, so we could go "tooling around town". I feel honored to have known such a sweet person. I will miss him!

Pops, you were such a cool guy and I only wish I got to spend more time with you!! I remember all the joy and laughter you brought to the room when you entered it and how proud you were of your boys!! Nathan and Troy are two amazing men and I am so very proud to know and love them!!
