Dear Jennifer and Family,
When I lived in Fort Wayne forty years ago, Dr. Daniel Lee Tritch was my family physician for a time. And I was thrilled to discover that we were indeed second cousins! His kindness and care of me during a critical time in my health has always been remembered so fondly. And my sister and I are truly saddened to have heard of his passing. Heaven is richer for his entry. May God continue to Bless you, and hold you in His Hands in these coming days ahead. Your family will continue to be in our Prayers.

35 years ago he turned my then 75 year old mother's health around. She lived another fullfilled 11 years. He's been a trusted caring physician for my daughter also and I thank him for all he's done to help her throughout the years. I'm so saddened by this and want to say to his family and staff how sorry I am and I'll pray that God gets you all through this difficult time.

This sad news was passed on to me by my parents. As a close friend of the Tritches growing up, I knew Dan as a Marine and as a young physician setting up practice in Ft Wayne. He possed great strength and motivation. I know he was a respected member of the medical community. It is fortunate that there is this opportunity for Dan's friends and patients to share their feelings of love, respect, and loss. Our deepest sympathy goes out to the Tritch family.

My deepest thoughts and prayers are with Dan and the Tritch family as he will be a missed member of their family as well as ours. I was a former baseball player of Dan Tritch's KFM and M.A.X Little League Teams. I'll never forget how much he believed in me and how he spent the many hours and money into each and everyone of us to help better who we were as a player and as a person. I just wish he was able to know how much I appreciated his words of wisdom and help all through my baseball career. Thanks for being a friend, a coach, and a part of our family.

I was deeply saddened today upon hearing from my brother, Stanley Levine, the shocking news about Dan. Even though this coming June, it will be 46 years since Dan and I graduated together from South Side High School, I will always remember Dan as being intelligent, personable, and an obvious leader. Since those high school days, he obviously touched many lives in a positive way and will be missed.
A few words in a message seem so inadequate at this difficult time, but I wanted you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Hopefully, in due time, your happy memories of years past will help ease some of the pain of your loss.
My warmest sympathy to all of you.

Writing this note through my tears seems almost unbearable and my heart is just aching. He was such a good man. He always spoke with such pride about his family. Dan's compassion for his patients probably went further in curing their ills than any medicine he could have prescribed. Without his heart-felt concern and guidance, my family would never have made it through some of our darkest days that came with caring for our aging parents in recent years. Our thoughts and prayers are with Dan's family and office staff as well as all of his patients who loved him as we do.

I met Dan Tritch through Foster Park Little league. My team played against his team over ten years ago, and of course his team beat us. I will never forget how he made my team feel, he made us feel like we won. Ever since then he and his family have made me and my family feel like we are special. He even drafted my son from my team at the age of 8 to play on his Major league baseball team (Max). I first began seeing Dr. Tritch when my pediatrician said I was too big for lollipops-at age 20 something! Over the past 20 years, this kind, gentle man often sat on his stool with his hands on my knees and his legs touching the leg rests of my wheelchair as he looked into my eyes and listened intently to what I had to say. He seemed so proud when I bounced back from a horseback riding accident or told him about my recent trip to Israel. Even on his busiest of days, I felt as if I were his only patient. Dr. Tritch taught me humility by example because he was never too proud to admit that he didn't have all the answers. He was a good mentor to me and I will miss him.

Dr. Tritch was my Dr. for many years. My sincere sympathy to the Tritch family for your loss.
Mrs. Tritch, You and I have never met that I know of, however, I was the one who found your purse that was stolen out of your car at the Tillman Road tennis court in 1989 or 1990, I believe. Your purse and contents were visible from Fairfield Avenue (close to Tillman Road) as a friend and I were walking to Foster Park. When I saw the name "Tritch" on the ID's, I gathered the the contents and took all back to my place. I then called a "Tritch" that was in the phone book and I believe it was Drs. brother. He came to my apartment and picked it up. That's when he told me your purse was taken from your car.
Dr. Tritch will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Tritch family.

Dear Family of Dr. Dan Tritch,
We have been fortunate enough to be with your father/husband as our doctor a long time. My father came all the way from Marion, IN because of Dan’s great care and skills along with my mother. I could go on and on about Dan being on the top as a doctor as I’m sure you are well aware of. His love and caring for you, his family has always been apparent and he showed a similar concern to all us patients. Although he is irreplaceable he will want you all to have wonderful lives. Cry and grieve, but live your life and smile at the good memories of such a wonderful person that has been a huge part of your life. Deepest regrets for your loss, Love Susan and Blaine Seely and Sons

Dear Tanner and Family,
We are so sorry to hear of your lost. Your dad has been our doctor for a long, long time and have known of your family as we grew up in the same area. Mariah, Ivan and I were just into him last week. Ivan will be especially upset as we all are, as you were so nice to him at school with my wife, his mother, dying just 4 months ago. We can really feel your grief and Ivan would be privileged to have you talk things over with if you need someone who understands. Your dad is a marvelous person and exceptional doctor. His knowledge went way beyond general practitioner. He is one of the great ones and we were lucky to know him and have spent sometime with him. He gave so much. He has been so proud of you all and will want you to have long and happy lives. Take care of each other. Our deepest regards to you all. Love the Fredrick’s

We would like to extend our condolences to the Tritch family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
I feel like Dr. Tritch was a long-time friend. I virtually "grew up" with him as I became his patient when I was in 7th grade (34 years)! My husband has been under his care for several years as well. My father passed away 19 years ago and my mother 6 years ago, but he would always remember them when I talked about them. I appreciated that he knew my family and our history. My brother coached with him and my sister worked at Lutheran Hospital years ago. They always spoke of Dr. Tritch's kindness and generosity. He always treated people with respect and dignity. We'll miss his "down to earth" style, and his experience & knowledge. I felt I could trust him.
May God comfort you and give you peace in knowing that he touched so many lives in a positive way. He has fulfilled the mission God gave him and now he recieves his crown of glory as Jesus promised.

I am deeply saddened to hear of the loss of one of the finest men I have been fortunate to know. Dan has left an eduring mark on all of us in our community. Linda and I are out of the city and will not be able to attend the services. Our hearts go out to Jennifer and the Tritch Family in this time of grief. You are in our prayers and thoughts.

Dr. Tritch was my doctor for years. My mother took me to see him when I was in high school. From the first time I saw him, I felt extremely comfortable and knew that I was in good hands. He was always a very caring individual, and never made you feel like you were just another number. My mother, Cheryl Phillips was a patient of his also, and was also extremely fond of him. He has indeed touched many, many lives, in such a special way, and will be truly missed. God bless his family through this difficult time.
