David Mitchell Obituary
Funeral service to be held at 11 am on January 13, 2024 at Northridge Baptist Church, 1300 E. Cook Rd. Ft. Wayne, IN, with visitation 2 hours prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joe Community Church or Northridge Baptist Church. Private burial to be held at a later date.

We were privileged to know David through the marriage of his son to our daughter. I know what a wonderful Christian man David was because his son, James took after him. David's voice was recognizable when I went to funerals that he officiated for friends of mine or when I attended church with James and Jennifer when he was a pastor at Memorial Baptist. He was very calming and gentle. We also got to be with him when we attended our shared grandkids birthdays. They loved him dearly and you could tell from his smile that he loved them and loved being with them to celebrate their birthdays. I pray for His wife, Barb to continue on without him, but loving all the memories she has in her heart.
