Donald C. Albersmeyer

DONALD C. ALBERSMEYER, 74, of Naples, Fla., formerly of Fort Wayne, died Saturday, Dec. 4, 2004, at Naples Community Hospital. Born Jan. 26, 1930, in Fort Wayne, he retired in 1993 as a Real Estate Appraiser. He previously was a Partner in the real estate firm of Daymude, Albers-meyer & Butler. He was earlier associated with Perfection Biscuit Co. and had also been a General Contractor in Fort Wayne. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Naples, was Past President of the Downtown Kiwanis Club and Past Lt. Governor of the Indiana District Kiwanis Clubs. Mr. Albersmeyer earned the rank of Eagle Scout as a Boy Scout. He was one of the mainstays in the building of the downtown Senior Citizens Center. Survivors include his wife, "Micki"; daughters, Cheri Early of Galion, Ohio, Cindy Albersmeyer of Naples; son, Randy Albersmeyer of Fort Wayne; stepdaughter, Laura Fore of Naples; stepson, Brian Aikins of New York City; six grandchildren; and sister, Dorothy Scott of Raleigh, N.C. Service is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial at Concordia Cemetery Gardens. Preferred memorials to Faith Lutheran Church, Naples.
