DONALD ARCHER Obituary

DONALD PAUL "DON" ARCHER, 62, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021. Born in Fort Wayne, Ind., Don was the son of the late John Archer, and Carolyn Bobay, who survives. Don graduated from Paul Harding High School. Don was a CNC mill operator and tool maker during his working career. He owned and operated Artech Machine prior to working for Flare LLC. Don was the "Original Outdoorsman." He took in everything that nature had to offer. Don enjoyed climbing glaciers, hiking trails, and canoeing regularly. Don was a family man and enjoyed the time spent with his family. Surviving are his wife, Theresa Archer; step-father, Vic Bobay; children, Brandy (Brad) Anderson, Bret (Kari) Anderson, Meagan (Manny) Archer; 12 grandchildren )with one on the way); one great-grandson (with one on the way); siblings, Doug (Cheryl) Archer, Diane Archer; best friend and fellow outdoorsman, Mike "Ba" Loney; step-siblings, Val (Bill) Porter, and Dean (Claudia) Bobay. Private Family Services. Memorials may be made to the Whitley County Humane Shelter.
