Knew Ed when we were State Farm agents in Fort Wayne. My condolences to his family. I remember going to Ed for advice when I wanted to leave State Farm( and grew tired of Indiana) and Ed's thoughts were deeply appreciated.

Diane, I’m so sorry about Ed. I lost Ron on Dec.2 last year and I’m trying to deal with being alone again. At least I’m backin Ft Wayne rather than in Naples ,FL where we’ve been for the winters since 2004. Also, 2 of my kid live here and have been so helpful ..I’ve missed you and Ed . We had many good times together and you were such a good friend to me when I had to deal with going through my divorce with three little ones to be both mom and dad. Please keep in touch. Again, take care .

I read about the death of Ed in the local paper yesterday.
I knew Diane and her family at First Presbyterian Church in Fort Wayne, IN.
Diane, your family is in our thoughts and prayers at this time.

Thank you to Ed's family for sharing such a great man with the rest of us in education. While he was at LHS my father, Loren Jones and all the rest of us, truly appreciated Ed and had great respect for him.

My father, Mike Bonahoom, just shared the cutest memory of Ed when he dressed up like a gorilla and came to our house. I remembered that once he said something. Our dog went crazy and tried to bite him and we got such a good laugh from that memory of him. God Bless him and all of you. My dad has so many fond memories of him, I just had to share the gorilla story with you. He wants me to make sure you know his heart is with Diane and all of his family.

We are so very sorry to hear of Ed's passing.Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. He was a kind and loving gentleman. My father, Michael Bonahoom sends his prayers. He always has such fond stories of the years he worked with Ed at Paul Harding HS. May God's grace be with all of you.

Was our principle at Heritage while I was there. He always had a great way with kids!! Was always very enjoyable to see and be around! He will be missed by many!

Mr Zapp, was one of my favorite people and a good teacher. He would meet my friends and I in the parking lot as we rolled into school late. He kept us out of a lot of trouble....lol. My heart prayers go out to his family. RIP Mr Zapp and thank you for the good memories.

Mr. Zappa was one of my favorite teachers and I was lucky to have him for my home room teacher. He made the days at school enjoyable. God bless him and his family.
