We are so sorry to hear of Ginny's passing. My sister, Carol and I both wish we could have come down for the services. Ginny was a good friend to my parents. I believe mom and Ginny met when they worked at GTE. My Dad and Ginny's first husband were good friends also. We send our condolences to Michael and Ginny's extended family. P.S. Mom (Doris Sherry) passed away in December, 2007.

I am so sorry to hear of Ginny's passing. I worked with her at GTE. I have so many great memories of Ginny. She was so much fun and had such a playful spirit and still looked like she just stepped out of a fashion magazine. She and Tom took me and a friend to Halls for dinner and that is where she introduced me to Blue Cheese & Poppy Seed dressing together on a salad. If you haven't tried it..it is good. I always think of her when I eat that combination. I also think of her when I come home from the grocery with a fresh loaf of bread. Gotta have that first fresh piece in the loaf while I put away groceries. She and Tom welcomed me to their home for fun summer afternoons at the pool. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

Grandma Ginny,
Wow, I really didn't realize how hard this would be on me. I felt like I kind of prepared myself for this day, knowing she was so sick for so long. But seeing my family, how upset everyone was, and how beautiful my grandma looked in her casket, really made everything sink in. I can't believe she's gone now. All today and yesterday at the funeral home, all I could picture was her sitting in her chair with Chico on her lap and Grandpa right next to her. I know now that the chair won't be occupied anymore. It breaks my heart to know that the only grandmother I was close to is gone. I remember taking her into Grandparents Day in the second grade, bragging to everyone about how good my grandma made butter bread. I was so proud to show her off, because of how beautiful she was, how loving she was, but mostly for her butter bread. =] I love you Grandma, I taped the rose from your casket on my dashboard. I'll miss you more than anything. See you someday, in an even better place. Love always, Kaley.

My mother was the best woman I have ever known. She made me laugh when I wanted to cry. She was always there when I needed her. I enjoyed being with her no matter where we went. I was always so proud of my mother and her beauty inside and out. She taught me so many things throughout my life and she really taught me to laugh. I will miss her every single day of my life. I just don't know who I will call and talk to now. Mom I love you so very much I hoped this day would never come. Why do things like this happen to such kind and loving people. Bye Mom, Love Always. Your oldest son Michael

What a great wife to my Dad, a great Grandmother to my kids, and the best Step-Mother to me and my siblings.
A fabulous cook, and the best "butter-bread" maker. ha!
This is a "huge" hurt to all.
Ginny will be sorely missed.
Tanya, David, Michael, & Eddie...I just re-lived the pain you are feeling for this past week, as I went down the same path with my own Mothers' passing.
Doesnt seem like it will EVER get easier, but, in time, it does.
A Mother is hard to lose, and she was the next best thing to me.
I love her for all that she was and all that she did.
A Great woman, a tough loss.
and... a "Beautiful" Woman.
