Our sincere and deepest condolences to the Faylor Family. It is with great sadness of our sister´s passing.
There isn´t a gesture or a special word, not even a card, no gift, nor act of kindness that can bring a loved one back - there is nothing to take away the emotion or feeling that you are going through. But I know that when we live by faith and trust in God, it is not necessarily by sight that we are comforted in our sorrow and our tears.
Our brokenness will turn into joy, because we know by Jesus´ promise that He is preparing a special place for all of us..... this is not the end. "In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." (John 14:2-3)
Jesus´ Words are comforting to know that we are in His loving hands.
As we pray together and offer our special petitions - You said, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." And so, this is our faith trusting in You, Lord, especially during difficult times like today - when our hearts are broken, a void and emptiness inside - come be with us Jesus, be at our side. "I consider that the sufferings of this present time are as nothing compared with the glory to be revealed for us." (Romans 8:18)
Look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen.
If there´s any consolation, or solace - God´s love is always present and gives us His grace today for tomorrow to be dressed in His coat of armor. And when that time is to meet God face to face, rest assured we will be with Christ and His Kingdom that will have no end, and no more suffering.
"I have competed well; I have finished the race; I have kept the faith. From now on the crown of righteousness awaits me, which the Lord, the just judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me, but to all who have longed for his appearance." (2 Timothy 4:7-8) Amen.
We can rejoice that our sister Emily competed and ran the race and now we celebrate her life and legacy.

I worked at L. S, Ayres with Emily for a number of years and when I left at the end of my shift, she came in for the night shift. I remember her well. Peace be with you Emily.
