Federa was a wonderful person. She was two weeks older than me and we had been friends for 65 years. I will miss her forever. Condolences to the family.

Mrs Federa was more than just my client who´s hair I did for more than thirty year. Over that time she became my
friend, whom I love and appreciate so very much. In general she was very quite during her visits to get her hair done. Mostly because she was coming after she was getting off work. So she just loved to enjoy the quite atmosphere in the salon. But some time we would laugh and talk just a Little, having a lot of fun talking about the events of her day at work. I am going to miss you Mrs Federa.

My Love and prayer to her husband Mike and to her son´s Brandon and Evan and to everyone who´s heart was connected to hers.

Brandon and Evan our hearts are breaking at your loss. Your mother was always so supportive and a leader in the education of many students. I am saddened to hear of Federa's passing. Years ago she chose me to take her spot on the Carey Services board. I wasn't sure but she had so much confidence in me so how could I say no. She was right, it was a great learning experience. She will forever be in our hearts and truly missed. Brandon and Evan, I will keep you in my prayers as you navigate this world without your beloved mom.

Federa was a legend. When I started working in public schools in Jan, 2002, she was the first educator I ever met who "got it" in every area. Almost right from the beginning, we were fast friends, but I know I was only one out of a great network she had. Federa had a way of making all of us feel like we alone were her best friend, and no one will ever fill that huge gap that now is there. Federa was a great principal, mentor, advisor, parent, confidante, and simply a good person. You always knew how to make me laugh, at all the wrong times. I have been blessed by being your friend.

Federa and I started teaching for MCS the same year over 50 years ago, and crossed paths in many ways. We took Masters classes at Ball State together and taught together at Allen Elementary. She was 3rd grade teacher for both my daughters and I was 3rd grade teacher for both Brandon and Evan.
She was a good friend over those many years, and will be greatly missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

This saddens me so much. Federa was my principal at Lincoln when I started teaching. She was wonderful to work for. Students and staff loved her. I remember her always talking about her boys, who she loved dearly. Rest Easy Federa!

Federa was my Head Start director for many years. She was a great person and great director. I got to work with her again when I was still with Head Start, but had my classroom at Justice and she was the principal there. It was awesome to reconnect with her. I am sad for her family to have to miss her, but I am so thankful she touched so many lives.

Dear Smith Family,

I´m very sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs. Smith. She was my fourth grade teacher years ago and one of my favorites. I even babysat Evan and Brandon a few times for her. She was such a kind and loving person, who will be missed.

My prayers to you all during this most difficult time.
