Dear Family - I just happened across this notice some 21 years later. My parents (Gene and Jean Harnish) were close friends of your family. Our families shared many great times together and I fondly remember the many gatherings at our house and at Mt. Wawasee. I spent a number of Summers working at Suelzer Moving and Storage.

Please know how much I will miss both Marty and Gayle and how important your parents were in my teenage years. - Mike Harnish

Dear Family - We are so sorry to hear about your dad's dying. We always enjoyed good conversation with your dad and mom. I can see their smiling faces and hear their words and laughter and always will. We have been in Florida at our daughter's and just returned home last night. We certainly would have been there to give you a loving hug. They made a wonderful contribution to this world in their children. I guess that is what life is about. All our love.

Hello to the Meyer family,

So saddened to hear about the death of your father, but realize that this is something he was waiting for, to join Marty.

My most fond memories are visiting with him and Marty at THE Lake James cottage. He so enjoyed being there fishing and playing cards. He was one tough competitor at cards!

Rob only spoke to him a few times, especially about sports and instantly realized how he LOVED Notre Dame! Of course, their conversations became very spirited as Rob is a true blue Purdue fan!

There are many more good memories of your Dad, always with Marty, so he is now with his best friend again.

Our prayers and thoughts are with you.
